Ever since Peter Jackson chose to bring to the screen the J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy epic "The Lord of the Rings" many a Producer scrambled to cash in on the sudden discovery that the movie going public had rekindled its love for the fantastic.

Many Fantasy movies followed, both one-offs and multi-parted. Stardust, I am glad to say, is not one of these. Stardust is in a class of its own.
